托福考试的写作部分分为综合(Integrated writing)和独立(Independent writing)两块，这两块分别独立评分，取平均值后得到最终的分数。这两个部分各占一半权重，因此应给予相同程度的重视。综合写作20分钟，要求150-225字。独立写作30分钟，要求300字以上，不过一般高分独立作文都是450字以上。所以写的详细、论证充分还是有一定用处的。
首先是综合写作部分。综合写作要求阅读一篇学术短文，听一段听力讲座，最后总结阅读和听力的内容。我觉得综合写作相对简单，记住范文的套路就完了，每篇本质上是一样的。所以po一个可以借鉴的范文。
In the lecture, the professor casts doubt on the reading passage’s idea that the number of birds in the United States will necessarily decline. The professor asserts that the arguments in the reading passage are not convincing.
Firstly, contrary to the belief in the passage that as human populations and settlements continue to expand, birds’ natural habitats will continue to disappear, the professor asserts that it is true that the growing population of human being and the expanding settlement of human can reduce the natural habitat for birds. However, the professor indicates that urbanization may increase the population of some kinds of birds, such as pigeons and sea gulls.
Secondly, the author of the passage points out that the growth of agriculture will also result in the further destruction of bird habitats, while the lecture notes that human now increase the agriculture by introducing more productive plants
instead of putting more lands into use for agriculture. Thus, it will not make the number of natural habitat decrease.
Lastly, opposing the author’s belief that pesticides have significantly contributed to declines in bird population, the professor contends that nowadays people are aware of the negative effects of traditional pesticide. In modern society, people
invent new kind of less toxic pesticide and pest resistant crops to avoid pest without harming the environment.
只要记住了范文的框架，在综合写作部分套用就可以了。除此之外，综合写作的听力部分尽量听详细一些，写作时写出原因的细节比较容易获得高分。
其次是独立写作部分。独立写作部分可以考虑分成五段来写。开头段引入主题，提出观点，中间三段要确定论据，可以使用例证法，对比法，因果推论法等进行论述。个人觉得，多举例子有助于提高分数
积累高分表达和高分词汇确实可以提高独立写作部分的分数。下面举一些高分表达的例子。
