怎么体现语法使用的range?
简单来说就是能使用多种不同的句型或者时态，而不是重复使用某几类。
不同的语法句型和时态包含但是不限于以下几类：
情态动词
e.g. Many people believe that government should be responsible for improving healthcare service.
e.g. More teachers have to be employed for the new semester.
多种完成时态
e.g. The city has put a new metro system into service.
e.g. I’ve been living there for more than 10 years.
e.g. They had never done anything like that until they startedthe project.
多种将来时态
e.g. I’m moving a new city next month.
e.g. I’m going to visit my uncle tonight.
e.g. I’ll probably study abroad in the next few years.
被动语态
e.g. The T-shirt was designed by a renowned designer.
e.g. A new technology is being developed recently.

什么是simple structure?
什么是complex structure?
英文的基本句子结构相信大家都了解，常见的例如：
StructuresExamples
Subject + VerbI do.
Subject + Verb + ObjectI do the dishes.
Subject + Verb + AdjectiveThe dishes are clean.
Subject + Verb + Object + AdverbI do the dishes quickly.
而根据雅思官方的标准，在口语考试中判断是否是simple structure，依据就是看句子中是否有multiple bits of information了(即有多少“信息点”)。
大多数simple structure(例如上文表格中的句子)，都是只在一个句子结构中提到了1个或者较少的信息点。(例如上文表格中的I do the dishes只是说了“洗碗”这个事情)
但是如果是complex structure，句子就会变成：I usually do the dishes after dinner, which is one of the household chores I must do every day. (此句中的信息点就包含了“饭后洗碗”，“其中一项家务”，“每天都做”多个信息点了。)
但是如果考生可以用多种不同句型，把多个bits of information串联在一起，就是展现自己能够使用complex structure的能力，也可以证明你在语法能力上的range是更好的。
所以基于multiple bits of information的原则， complex structure包含但是不限于以下类型：
对比结构
e.g. I like staying at home more than playing outdoor sports.
e.g. I think parents are as much important as teachers on educating children.
多种条件句结构
e.g. If we do the garbage sorting, we will be more environmentally-friendly.
e.g. If I won the champion, I would share the happiness with my family and my coach.
多种从句结构
e.g. That’s a city where I can always find many choices for the street food.
e.g. I try to find a guy who is able to provide the service we need.
