6. a traditional festival;
7. a walk with a friend;
8. an important conversation(that you had in the past);
以上话题与Describe what you did last week话题类似,都涉及描述一段时间中发生的事情的流程。因此可以将这些话题归纳为描述过程类话题,并帮助考生从这个角度备考。
在准备描述过程类话题时,朗阁海外考试研究中心建议考生们首先应准备好表示连接关系的词汇,共有三类。首先是直接表示时间的词语,如Monday, On January 2nd等引导时间状语从句的从属连词,这在描述过程类话题时属于*单词;同时并不困难,考生准备起来很轻松。其次是可以连接上下文的一些词汇,如afterward, first, later, then, soon, until, first(of all), ...... ; and .........; also, .......; at the same time...... Meanwhile......等。同时,考生还可以使用表示因果等关系的词汇连接上下文,如because, so等。善用这些词汇,可使表达更清晰。
在具体讨论过程时,朗阁海外考试研究中心建议考生将需提及的事件分类,重点突出某一事件,做到全面覆盖,重点突出。下面以前文提到的Describe what you did last week.话题为例,说明这种类型题目的描述方法。
