Imagine a picture in your mind: after a long day of dealing with various suffocating business issue, wouldn’t it be so relaxing to sit in couch, reading “entertaining to death”, with a cup a tea in hand? Yes, the scene looks so appealing to some that they immediately reject the possibility of grabbing gears and running into gym, which sounds not >’ movies kicks your mind off work more than half an hour jogging? Honestly, I highly doubt this projection.
I acknowledge physical exercise sounds like an excruciating experience, with sweets, sour muscles, and legs that could not even lift on the second day when you try to leave your bed. Beyond that, the stress and strain from business deals or a due essay meeting deadline can put out the slightest desire to pick up lifts or do several push-ups. Such hurdles haunt modern people, pushing them away from gym or playground and alluring them to walk into cinema or pick up a book, a choice looking rather effortless and confirming the idea of relaxation.
However, for those who actually have a spirit of persistence and self-discipline, after spending significant time period in gym, they might not nod to the above perspective. Instead, these gym enthusiasts endorse the beauty of sport and claim they are granted a second enriched and confident life in which sport plays a huge part. Their feelings and passion are justified. According to The Lancet, a leading authority in medical news, our brain release dopamine, a substance that create excitement and happiness, after exercises, a scientific fact to explain why people are more spirited rather than exhausted, finishing daily training. Therefore, what really matters is to experience the charm of sport after which people might have a change on opinions on whether reading or movie is more relaxing.
Probably, the most powerful argument for sport to help us take minds off pressure is the confidence, admirable attribute to make life much less miserable and much more enjoyable, developed in the course. In turn, we take our guard off, feeling completely relaxed. After daily training, for example, people look at a physique of an athlete, with a facial expression, proud and satisfying; I suppose any tight mood or tiredness from work must disappear, leaving nothing but pleasure and content.
Relaxation is something people are after when they are off duty and the methods can be endless. While a hilarious movie might make one laugh his head off and an influential book make one think deep into the meaning of life, physical exercises shall be added into one’s list of leisure activities so that the charm of sport will be tasted and a new way to unwind will be started.
