常考话题。1. 描述人物1) What are the characteristics of a good friend? Use reasons and examples to support your responses.
答题要点：重要的是描述出 2-3 个优点，并加上举例。类似题目：*What are the characteristics of a good neighbor/ parent/ teacher/ classmate/ roommate?* Describe the characteristics that make a person successful2) Which person has helped you the most to get where you are today, and how has he or she helped you?答题要点：重要的是描述出 2-3 件事情，越具体越好。2. 描述地点，Describe a place where you go for rest and relaxation. Explain why it is a good place for you to relax.答题要点：描述出 3 点左右的理由，如 beautiful scenery, shopping facilities, employment opportunities, easy transportation …类似题目：* If you could live anywhere, where would you live?* Which place in your hometown would you like to take visitors to see and why?
比如，在2008年3月2日和2006年11月18日两次考到以下题目： If you get a chance to choose a job, what will you do? What's your reason for choosing this job? Include details and examples in your explanation.当然，除了以上两种出题方式的可能性，再多的猜测也只能是挂一漏万。因此，*关键的还是在拿到每个相关题目时，在动笔或者动口前，冷静、到位地分析出如何解题。解题正确与否，直接关系到回答是否正中*下怀。否则就算话语表述再流利可能也会被*判个低分。
我们一起来看看2008年5月10日的一道题：Choose a profession that you love and you will never work a day in your life. Explain why this profession would be appealing to you and why you wouldn't take it.
