其实机经这个词*早出现是在GRE考试的机考中，原意为机考的经验(也有机考的经书的解释)。
由于GRE机考的试题随机选择并重复出现，当基数足够大的时候，所有题目会对应一个较为可靠的出现频率。但是由于雅思一般很少用机考，然后GRE里面的“机考经验”到雅思里面也就变成了“机构经验”。
官方点说，雅思机经其实是一种民间总结非官方的雅思题库，内容包括听力、阅读、口语、写作四个单项的考题。
说白了，所谓机经就是一些培训机构，根据学生考场回忆整理出来一套真题，类似于非正式的实时版剑桥雅思真题。
雅思机经这个东西，不同科目靠谱程度不同，看运气，也看心态。
