成立于1895年的伦敦政治经济中心一向被誉为“*的社会科学教育及研究机构”。它对社会科学的专注在伦敦大学和全英国都是*的。
因为LSE在经济、金融、管理方面有着*的优势，而这些专业是国内*的大学生追逐的重点，每年的申请量居高不下。所以LSE在入学要求上相比其他学校也比较高，尤其是GMAT。
依LSE申请量*多的MSc Accounting and Finance 举例，除了雅思总分7.0，阅读听力6.5，其余6.0的要求以外还有GMAT的具体要求：

GMAT对于英国学生是建议*，但是对于国际学生是一定要*的。LSE对于GMAT的基本线是650，但是从经验来看，很多申请的学生至少有680以上的成绩，建议学生*好能到700以上，申请成功率会更大。
2 伦敦大学中心UCL
作为*排名第5的Top 5 大学，UCL的光环*瞩目，也是每年申请*多的学校之一。
今年UCL的MSc Management专业新增加了对于GMAT的要求：
Applicants must submit a GMAT or GRE score with their application. For GMAT we generally require a minimum score of 600, or for GRE a minimum score of 310. Scores should not be older than 5 years. Applications will not be considered without a GMAT or GRE score.
GMAT的分数要在600分以上，这个要求是今年增加的，如果学生在此之前已经提交了申请的，可以考虑后续再考GMAT，没有考过GMAT同时又想申请UCL的学生一定要尽力去考，以增大自己录取率。
3 雷丁大学Reading
雷丁大学2007年与全球商中心排名50的亨利商中心合并，从此亨利商中心入驻雷丁大学而让雷丁名声大噪。与此同时，ICMA中心也*了全英排名名列前茅的金融相关专业。以下是总结出的几个ICMA需要GMAT的几个热门专业：
MSc Financial Engineering
MSc Financial Risk Management
MSc Investment Banking and Islamic Finance
GMAT要求：We may ask you to submit a GMAT score if we think it appropriate in your individual case. For example, if you have been out of education for more than a few years or have little evidence of any numerical ability
雷丁大学招生办主任明确说明对于数学成绩稍低，或者没有数学类基础的学生，建议一定要考GMAT，且*好数学部分达80%以上，这也是大学招生的参考因素。
当然ICMA也不是所有专业都需要，比如以下专业就明确要求无须GMAT成绩。
